Procession

 

Journalist Alice Blumen witnesses old men walking single file in front of a restaurant in Maine. They are holding onto each other in a way that bears the unusual hallmarks of two similar incidents farther south. She proceeds to investigate what could become a major story, but others are likely to get in her way.

 

 

A breakout of processionary behavior among senior citizens in New England forces an uneasy alliance between an intrepid journalist and an invasion biologist. Others join in. The future of mankind may be at stake.
